Cap Off gets football jerseys
Vice Chairman of Waterloo Secondary School Board, Ramnarace Samuel and his treasurer Narine Bahall handed over the jerseys to the Waterloo-based Cap Off Youths coach Michael Davis last week during a ceremony on the Waterloo Secondary School compound. Both Samuel and Bahall greeted the young players of Cap Off Youths FC before handing out the jerseys, which were sponsored by a businessman in the community through the efforts of the School Board.
Samuel indicated to both the players and parents that each jersey has the print ‘Waterloo Secondary School Board’ so that the parent in the community will consider Waterloo Secondary School as the child first choice in the SEA Exams.
Bahall praised the players of the Cap Off team for their recent victories in the 10th annual Carapichaima Football League which include a 4-0 win over Ralph Coaching School and a 2-0 victory over Tabaquite. The parent and players were assured that Waterloo Secondary School initiative is to continue to forge closer ties with the community.
